Siwon Privacy Policy

Siwon is a personal AI companion that lives on your desktop. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Siwon is local-first: your data stays on your device, and you control it.

Siwon stores the following data on your device:

• Conversations with Siwon
• Memories Siwon keeps from your conversations
• Tasks and reminders you create
• Character settings created during setup

• All data is stored locally on your device by default
• You can optionally export or sync it to a location you choose (Obsidian, Dropbox, iCloud, a Git repository, etc.)
• We do not operate servers that store your personal data, and no analytics or tracking is implemented

• By default, Siwon uses a local AI model, so your conversations stay on your device
• If you opt in to a cloud AI provider (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) with your own API key, your conversations are sent to that provider to generate responses, under their respective privacy policies

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

You can delete your data at any time within the app, or by removing Siwon's local data folder from your device.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
